Operation Backpack
7.21.2011 // Amanda Holmstrom

Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18

It’s hard to believe summer is almost over, and school is right around the corner.  This will be the 2nd year  Woodlands Point partners with the Tamina Community Center and Houser Elementary to  sponsor “Operation Backpack”. We are collecting backpacks and school supplies for these groups and the hundreds of children in our community they impact on a daily basis. This is a simple way to work for the good and joy of our city, by impacting the lives of these students in a very practical, relevant way.

Look for the Operation Backpack table set up in the main hallway between  July 24 – August 7, where we will have volunteers collecting supplies and available to answer any questions.

Specific Supplies needed:

  • backpacks
  • construction paper
