Welcome to GenerationNext!
9.12.2011 // Diana Adams
Dear Parents, We would like to be the first to welcome you to GenerationNext! GenerationNext is our response to what God is doing in and through the Children and Student ministries at Woodlands Point Community Church. We are excited to unveil a new look and theme that is modeled after and reflects the vision and mission of our church. WeePoint will still consist of Infants-PreK, and KidsPoint will still consist of K-5th Grade. Our new classroom names correlate with growth stages beginning with Seedlings (Infants) all the way through Oaks (4th & 5th Grade). It is our hope that as your child moves through WeePoint and KidsPoint that their spiritual growth becomes increasingly rooted and grounded in God’s love for them, and that their lives would in turn bear fruit that is evidence of a life lived in Christ.
GenerationNext is committed as a ministry to train, equip, and empower you the parent to raise your children as your first disciples. You will notice a new “Parent Cue” coming home monthly. This card is designed to encourage you to interact with your child and help incorporate lessons of faith and character into the rhythms of your home. KidsPoint students will also be given a weekly “GodTime” card. These cards are designed to help your children establish a consistent daily devotional. In addition, we encourage you to ‘Like’ our GenerationNext Facebook page and to check out our GenerationNext blog on the Woodlands Point homepage. These resources will provide you with monthly lesson highlights, book reviews, and supplemental material that is designed to support you as you train up your child in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

We are looking forward to a great season of growth with you in Him, Diana Adams & Amanda Holmstrom
