POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Snacks
Infants/Crawlers will be bottle-fed according to each individual child's schedule. On Sunday mornings we are not able to feed children meals or jar food. Please be sure to label each of your child's belongings with his/her name and verbally communicate any special instructions directly to a classroom Shepherd.

We regularly provide Goldfish® and water for our Preschool and Grade School classes. On rare occasions when we serve other foods, we place clear "Allergy Alert" signs listing all of the foods we will be serving that day. If your child has allergies, please let us know when registering them/signing them in, and make note of it in the "allergy alert" section of their security name tag.

Sick Policy
We require that a child be free of fever for 24 hours before entering KidsPoint. As well, children being treated with antibiotics should be on the drug for at least 24 hours. Children will not be allowed into any KidsPoint classroom if there is evidence of excessive nasal discharge, rash, inflamed throat or mouth, coughing, sneezing, head lice or open wounds without proper bandages. Adherence to this policy is important to protect the health of all children in our classrooms. For the welfare of all, parents are strongly encouraged not to bring sick children to church. The KidsPoint Director and Classroom Shepherd will have the final say on whether or not a child is well enough to enter a classroom.

Pick-up Procedures
Please make sure to have your numbered security tag ready to present when picking up your child/children. The classroom Shepherd will check to make sure your security tag number matches your child's corresponding security name tag. Also, please double check to make sure you have all your child's personal belongings as well as any other project or notes from that Sunday's Bible lesson.

Special Note:

Please do not bring any outside toys, food or gum. You are welcome to bring properly labeled sippy cups, however please leave your snacks and toys at home. Our priority is teaching Sunday's lesson and outside items often serve to distract children. Thank you!
