The Woodlands Point Orphan-Care Network
The Orphan-Care Network at Woodlands Point exists to resource, support and celebrate the calling of God on His people to care for orphans. With Gospel-centered resources we strive to equip and mobilize the Church to eradicate the orphan crisis locally, domestically and internationally.

The Orphan-Care Network is community of people committed to creatively and dynamically responding to James 1:27 - "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world." We believe obedience to this call is multi-faceted, and is best lived out in the context of community. Within the network you will find people committed to the foster and/or adoption process through various avenues such as:
  • Foster Parents - Licensed, trained parents to children within the foster system
  • Respite Workers - Licensed, trained "extended-stay" care-givers for families with foster children
  • Licensed Care-Givers - Trained short-term help for families with foster children
  • C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) - Licensed, trained and court-appointed liaisons between the foster child, case worker, foster families and the courts.
  • Financial Supporters - People committed to financially assisting others in the foster and/or adoption process.
  • Etc.
Who can be a part of the network?
